This week Friday City Spotlight features Chicago, IL. With beautiful skylines featuring the Willis Tower at the center of it, Chicago offers a panoramic comparison similar to Manhattan. After visiting Chicago so many times, I realize Chicago is a hidden gem only appreciated by Midwest people sometimes. Without an all-star game, most people won't visit Chicago. In this article, I'll give you a few reasons to visit the Windy City.
Chicago is the home of Blues Music. Every summer thousands of people pack Millennium Park to hear artists play the Blues while sitting on the grass. While enjoying a cold drink on the grass you can feel the summer breeze coming from Lake Michigan.
If your willing to get your steps in downtown, visit Navy Pier for some fun with the family. Navy Pier features great food and family fun for all. With Ferry rides, Ferris wheels, and fresh Gelato, Navy Pier is perfect for families.
Right down the road is Shedd Aquarium. Shedd can be a little pricey for a large family, But you're on vacation live it up. Shedd as every fish you can think of. Seriously, everything. From Pike, Octopus, Jellies, and you guess it, SHARKS!!!! Shedd is simply amazing.
I know covid-19 has changed everything for every city, but the spring of 2021 will be great. With the vaccines available to every citizen, together we'll all be returning to normal. So this spring plan a visit to Chicago.
